Melbourn Squash Club’s men’s 1sts moved into mid-table in Division Two after they recorded a 20-1 victory over strugglers Comberton II.
The only blip came when skipper Paul Heath (5) lost his opening game, but from then on he looked in command as he won 3-1.
Fourth string brought an assured performance from new recruit Gareth Russell as he won 3-0.
Thereafter it was comfortable as Max North (1), Joe Weavers (2) and Jan Brynjolffssen (3) cruised to 3-0 successes.
Heath said: “It was great to get our first win of the season in such a convincing way.”
