Injury-ravaged Hares under-15s battled throughout their away trip to Trident Wasps but were unable to take advantage of the slope and wind despite creating most of the chances.

The best chance fell to Daniel Bank-Smith, following some neat link up play from Tayler Follen, Dave Turner, and DJ Winkworth.

The second half saw Hares defence put on an excellent performance through George Worby and Callam Scowen restricting Wasps to just one shot on goal.

Hares under-sevens A started brightly against Baldock with Lewis Ellis, Reiss Gillingwater and Owen Groves leading the way.

Hormead took the lead midway into the half through Lewis Ellis finding himself in space driving into the Baldock box and firing into the roof of the net.

Baldock's second half equaliser came via a quick corner and a low shot first time into the corner of the Hares' goal.

The impetus was now with the hosts, and Hannam played a key role in ensuring that Hares took a share of the spoils.

A goal in each half saw Hares B go down 2-0 against Baldock.

Hormead's under-13s were held to a disappointing 2-2 draw away to title contenders Stevenage Colts, despite going ahead twice in the game.

James Kaye latched onto a loose ball on 30 minutes to take the lead for Hares only for Colts to reply three minutes into first half injury time.

Hares grabbed the lead midway through the second half through Luke Cox chipping the impressive Colts keeper.

Colts stunned a sleeping Hares by equalising straight from the resulting restart to snatch a point.

Hares under-10s hosted Wymondley, and took just one point from the two games.

In a very close game Hares B were unable to convert many scoring chances in a thrilling first half.

Strikers Emma Perrin and Bryce Hagger worked hard with out success. The second half saw Wymondley more on the offensive but with good defending from Thomas Gibbs and Joe Woodcock the honours remained even in a game which neither side did not deserve to lose.

In the A team game, a tight first half saw few chances for either side as the teams went in level at the break.

The game changed in the second half after an injury saw Sam Huttlestone taken to hospital with only one replacement available, Alex Underwood changed from striker to defender but the tiring Hares could not stop Wymondley scoring twice and taking the points.
