A Melbourn Village College student is celebrating success at the Cambridgeshire Gymnastics Championships.

Held at her home club of Huntingdon, Alice Frewin came away with one gold and two bronze medals and just missed out on a fourth.

The Year 8 pupil from Barrington took the top prize for her floor routine and picked up third place in the beam and vault events.

She was fourth on the bars.
