SUNDAY'S local derby was a friendly as both league teams had no competitive games on.
Both teams had their chances in the first 15 minutes and Guilden Morden took the lead from captain Frankie Berry.
Two goals from Mark Rogerson made it 3-0 at the break while after the interval Will Criddle finished off a fine move to make it four.
Ashwell did manage a goal themselves but it was too little too late.
