GRENEWAY'S excellent Year 7 and 8 athletes continued their fine start to the season with another impressive set of performances at the Ridlings Stadium in Stevenage.
Going into the event, the Royston school were leading in the Year 7 and 8 boys' competition, as well as the Year 8 girls. They were also only three points behind Hitchin Girls School in the Year 7 girls' competition.
Despite difficult conditions a number of athletes managed to set personal bests. The pick of the track runs were a new Year 7 800m record for Ellis King, another dominant display in the 200m by Ayrron Armstrong, and also Amber Rivers' debut run in the Year 8 girls' 200m.
