GRENEWAY hosted the North Herts Schools under-13s football final and came away with a deserved runners-up medal.
The Royston school were pipped to first place by a strong Ralph Sadlier in the inaugural girls competition, that also involved Edwinstree and Roysia Schools.
Each game was well contested and skilful, with more than 50 youngsters taking part. More than 30 goals were scored as a result, with Greneway scoring 11 and conceding just two in their three fixtures.
