ADAM Monti and Nathan Crossman each scored 10 points as Greneway School's Year 7 basketball team hammered Fearnhill School 51-15. Both teams were looking to extend their winning streak, but from the tip Greneway won possession and quickly scored. They then defended superbly individually and collectively and converted many turnovers into more points with good finishing. Fearnhill were bamboozled by the Greneway defence and all-court game and the quarter ended 16-0 to Greneway. The second period was much in the same vein as both teams tried to play passing, fast basketball. The individual and team defence of the Greneway players was too much for the hosts and the visitors reached the interval 26-2. The third quarter saw Greneway increase the pressure as they pressed home their advantage to control the game at 45-8. The final period saw Fearnhill rally and play their best basketball of the game, but it was too little, too late as Greneway extended their 100 per cent record
