Greneway Year 8 pupil Molly Davies completed her successful indoor season competing for Stevenage and North Herts AC at Lee Valley Athletics Centre by winning silver in the U15 Girls High Jump with a clearance of 1.35m, equalling her indoor personal best.
The winner, club-mate Molly Gardner, edged her out with a 1.40m clearance.
Greneway Head of PE Terry Graves said: “A wonderful county silver indoors and with a PB to boot. This is a fantastic achievement and augurs well for the summer and Molly’s outdoor season.”
