LITLINGTON secured their first win of the season on Saturday after a wonderful team performance saw them thump Saffron Rangers 4-1.
Litlington will be unveiling their new kit in their next game on Saturday and after hitting a stunning second half hat-trick assistant manager James Evans will certainly be guaranteed to wear one in their next game.
Evans' performance was all the more spectacular as he did not make it on to the pitch until an hour into the game having been demoted to the bench after turning up late for the match.
Litlington played the first half at a high tempo which bemused Saffron Rangers but for all their possession couldn't find the opening goal. Matt Kingsley and Kyle Wilson were totally dominant in centre midfield and created numerous chances for the front two pairing of captain Paul Harris and the forever improving James Weir.

Litlington started the second half slowly with players struggling to deal with the sun and they found themselves one goal down when a quick counterattack caught them out, and one could have become two but for a splendid save by Bonfield in the Litlington goal.
Manager Ashley Hawkins brought Evans into the game on 60mins and almost immediately the substitution turned the game on its head, with Evans pace unsettling the back four of Rangers who had held a high line all match.

Litlington's pressure finally told when Evans scored his first of the game with a stunning half volley from 25 yards that fizzed past the home goalkeeper. Evans then turned provider, setting up Harris who lobbed the keeper from the edge of the area.
Litlington sensed blood and went for the jugular and it was not long before Evans scored his second with a neat finish from 15 yards with his left peg.
A brilliant flowing move then saw Kyle Wilson swing in a low cross for Evans to complete his hat-trick.
"This was a very solid team performance from us today," said Hawkins. Everyone gave 110 per cent and we won easily in the end. However I must give special mention to Evans who answered a lot of critics today with his stunning 25 minute hat-trick."
