Royston Ladies IIs finished their league campaign in style with a 4-1 victory over promoted side Aylesbury with Lucy Davidson getting their first goal.

Royston continued to dictate the game as Davidson scored her second before the match was wrapped up late on to finish the season on 38 points - 10 more than last season's total.

Ladies 3rd XI lost to Vauxhall Chiltern 3rd XI 2-3

The Ladies III played the best hockey they have done all season with some perfect passing and shots at goal.

They went 1 - 0 in the first 15 minutes but then a beautiful pass from Teresa Smith to Sarah Warren who made a lovely run up the right and made the pass into Lisa Thompson who struck the ball hard straight into the back of the net.

Vauxhall came back again with another goal just before half time and scored again but it was not without a struggle with Tash Ball put under pressure in the goal but making some great saves and the defense of Charlotte Joyce Teresa Smith Sarah Holland and Jo Pearce all working well.

The ladies made a break again down the right with Jess Woodhouse making a great cross Leane Keane had a shot which came off the keeper's pads and Jennifer Biddlecombe was on hand to slot the ball away.
