GREAT Chishill tennis hopeful Georgie Stoop is expected to begin her ladies doubles campaign at Wimbledon this evening alongside British teenage sensation Laura Robson.

The pair are due to take on fellow Brits Melanie Smith and Jade Curtis in the first round proper but have not yet been given a court number or time.

The match will be Stoop's second at this year's tournament after she was knocked out of the ladies singles event yesterday (Tuesday) in three sets by world number seven Vera Zvonareva.

Her doubles match is likely to receive plenty of media coverage owing to her performance yesterday and that her partner for this tie, Robson, has been dubbed the next big thing.
