IN a bid to get more youngsters playing rugby, Royston Rugby Club will be holding another open fun day next week.
The club's youth development officer Alistair Clare said: "The rugby fun day is always a success and the young people of Royston and the surrounding villages always enjoy themselves.
"We want them to have fun and enjoy playing rugby.
"For a lot of them it may be the first time they have played.
"It also helps with the club's recruitment and we are hopeful we will find a few more players for the future."
The fun day will take place at the Heath Sports Club on Friday, August 10, and will run from 2pm-5pm.
