FOWLMERE manager Steve Walker says his side are looking forward to the start of their new league season following another comfortable win on Tuesday evening.
Fowlmere saw off Melbourn last week with a convincing 3-0 win, and impressed again this week, knocking six past a helpless Great Chishill.
Striker Shaun Audley maintained his fine pre-season form by firing home the opener after just five minutes, with Dan Caley doubling the hosts lead when he fired across the Chishill keeper after cutting in from the left.
More of the same followed for Fowlmere, with the second half opening with a fine Carl Frostik strike, with Audley netting his second and the hosts' fourth moments later.
Fowlmere's strike pairing impressed throughout, and when Darcey found Frostik in space, the former Buntingford Town striker made no mistake for his fourth goal in two games.

Not to be outdone, Audley then completed the commanding win with his third, following some clever play from Frostik and Terry Woods.
Walker said: "It was a good solid performance that we dominated from start to finish. I've been very pleased with how our pre-season has gone, and we're looking in good shape for the start of the season.
"I'm now at that stage where I'm starting to see what my strongest line up is, and I have to say that competition for places is very strong - which is a good thing.
"We've had a lot of new players come in, and they've slotted in very nicely. I'm very pleased with the squad that I've got for the coming season.
"I think we're all looking forward to getting going again, because it could be an interesting season for us.
"We're scoring goals and keeping clean sheets, as well as showing excellent work rate and determination.
"The spirit and morale of the side is also extremely high and if we can keep that going I'm sure that we'll have a good season ahead of us."
