Fowlmere face a difficult trip to Coates Athletic of the Peterborough & District League on Saturday in what promises to be an entertaining Junior Invitation Cup quarter final tie.

Steve Walker's side travel to their in-form opponents on the back of their own impressive spell, having now gone four games unbeaten.

And after seeing off Somersham Town on penalties, and then Bottisham Sports 1-0 in the last round, Walker is looking forward to Saturday's fixture.

He said: "It should be a good game, and although we know very little about our opponents, we know that they must be fairly good in order to have reached the quarter final.

"The cup games always throw up these unknown sides and we have to go there looking for a win - that's the only result we want."

However, Coates Athletic also go into the game with a four-game unbeaten run, having scored 22 goals in the process, and with a record that shows just two defeats in 19 games.

Walker said: "On our day we can beat most teams.

"We're always going to cause problems in attack and we are a side that offers goals from all over the pitch.

"We'll get out there and attack from the off, and hopefully get an early goal.

"It would be great for the club to have a semi-final to look forward to!
