Great Chishill 4 Balsham 1
GREAT Chishill netted four goals in 12 minutes to claim their second win of the season.
After a bright start their neat football troubled Balsham from the off as Gareth Edey threatened the visitors in and around the area.
However, against the run of play it was the visitors who broke the deadlock minutes before half time, smashing home a chance after Chishill failed to clear a corner.
After the break, Chishill continued to play the better football, but as the half wore on the visitors sat back and defended deep.
And when Jonathan Drury volleyed over the bar, it looked as if Balsham would hold on to their slender lead.
But then came the goal-laden 12 minutes, with Edey starting the proceedings after some good play by Oli Fitzgerald.
Gary Radford then fired a shot into the roof of the net moments later, before Steve McGee chipped in a well-worked third.
Elliott Drury then completed the win with a last minute tap in to leave the Balsham defence shell-shocked.
