FOXTON continued their unbeaten start to the season with another away victory, despite having to field an under-strength side.
Iain Tokley was the star of the show as he bagged a hat-trick, with Adam Fields rounding off the win with his first for the club.
The result took Foxton's Kershaw League points tally to seven from three games, after a goalless draw at Hardwick the previous Wednesday which had seen the visitors fail to make their superiority pay.
The visitors looked lively from the start and went ahead after only four minutes when Tokley hammered an unstoppable shot in from the corner of the area.
However Foxton lost winger Conrad Welstead with a severe knee injury in the build-up to the goal, and he was replaced by Nick Edwards.
Foxton totally dominated the first 25 minutes and went further ahead again through Tokley when he tapped in from close range.
Brampton could not handle the pace of Chamberlain, Fields, Tokley and Edwards and regularly threatened the goal but a third strike eluded them for the remainder of the half.
Brampton came out fired up for the second period but Vinny Spina and Sean Audley who was playing despite having a broken bone in his foot, were in control and kept the home side at bay in the opening minutes.
Tokley then sealed his treble and Foxton's win after 60 minutes with a well placed header which gave the home keeper no chance, before Fields rounded off the victory with a fine individual effort 10 minutes from time.
Foxton: A Kimsey, J Clark, M Rhodes, S Audley, V Spina, D Chamberlain, C Welsted, A Flack, C Aristo, I Tokley, A Fields Subs: N Edwards, A Cambridge, L Griffin.
- Foxton play their fourth successive away game on Saturday when they travel to Mildenhall Town Reserves.

PAUL Lewis blasted a hat-trick as Town kicked off the season in syle on Sunday.
The Vets were strengthened by the inclusion of Ryan Cannon and Chris Geldart to compete with Litlington's Sunday team.
The pace and movement of Litlington dominated the early stages of the game and they took a deserved lead when their striker was quick to latch on to a back pass and slot home past keeper Merv Chaffey.
Although the Vets began to get their passing game together and Ryan Cannon was causing the defence a few problems with some good crosses from the left it was the home side that always looked most likely to score again.
Litlington went close to extending their lead on number of occasions but a combination of fine saves by Chaffey and excellent defending by the Vets' back four, especially Dave Cooper, prevented any further score in the first half.
The hosts extended their lead early in the second half when a right-wing cross was headed in at the far post.
This seemed to spur the Vets to lift their game, and with Dickie Harris, Kevin Barthrop, and Geldart enjoying increased possession in midfield, the visitors began to create more openings up front.
Lewis deservedly opened the scoring for the Vets with a close- range effort, but Barthrop equalised a few minutes later from a header, when the home keeper missed a high ball from the left.
The Vets took the lead when Lewis was released down the left and he turned on to his right foot to hit a dipping shot over the keeper's head into the far corner of the net with the home defence claiming offside by another attacker.
For the first time in the match the Vets dominated the game, with controlled, accurate passing, and further goals from Ryan Cannon and Lewis ensured Town started the new campaign in style.
Royston Town Vets: M Chaffey, K Flack, D Cooper, B Cannon, M King, R Harris, C Geldart, K Barthrop, R Cannon, C McArthur, P Lewis, I Allen, M Cooper.
- The Vets' next game will be an away fixture at Knebworth on Sunday.
