THE under-12 Templars continue to battle for the Division One title after a convincing 5-0 win over Knebworth, with the goals being shared between Anthony Geary, Jhai Dillon, Bonham Harper, Joe Fraser-Bossom and Tom Gornall.

Meanwhile, the under-12 Crusaders and Hormead Hares shared the points in a 2-2 draw with Iain Robinson scoring both the home sides goals.

The under-12 Knights produced the best result of the day as they recorded their first win of the season over second in the league Hitchin Town.

A Corey Rodgers goal could not prevent the under-12 Templars slipping to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Division Two leaders Stevenage Town, while the Lancers were also beaten, 3-2 at Stevenage Borough.

After going a goal down some great goalkeeping and defending kept the Knights in the game before Alex Surridge equalised from the penalty spot. A defensive lapse allowed the visitors to regain the lead just before the half time break.

After some sustained pressure in the second half, Jordan Bright levelled the score. Almost straight away both Alex Surridge and Jordan Bright scored to make it 4-2, before Jordan Bright was on hand to complete his hat trick by adding a fifth. Although Hitchin pulled one back, Jordan Bright notched his fourth of the game to give the Knights the points with a 6-3 victory.

The under-10 Templars and Letchworth Garden City Eagles fought out a goalless draw in their Division A match, while the Crusaders consolidated their position at the top of Division B as two goals from Kain Linnell and one each from Hayden Mabbert and Nick Allin gave them a convincing 4-1 win over the Eagles 'B' side.

The under-10 Knights suffered a nightmare morning at Albion Youth, ending up on the wrong end of a 9-0 scoreline. There was better luck for the under-10 Lancers who took the points against Stevenage Celtic with a 2-1 win.

Two goals from Jack Chatman and a Luke Hennessey strike gave the under-14 Templars a welcome 3-0 victory over Bishop's Stortford Rangers.

The under-14 Knights maintained their lead of Division Four with a 3-0 win over mid table Sawbridgeworth. The Knights took the lead mid way through the first half through Ben Cordery and led 1-0 at half-time.

Second half substitute Mark Harper scored a scrambled second goal, before Jack Fidock finished the scoring with a well taken third.

A weakened under-15 Knights visited Bishop Stortford for the second week running, and again found themselves returning empty handed as they were defeated 3-1.

The under-15 Lancers continue at the top of Division Four after a 5-0 win over Buntingford Cougars. Joel Strickland led the way with a hat-trick while Ben Glover and Sam Fraser-Bossom were also on target.

Josh Furness was another player to claim a hat-trick as the under-16 Crusaders also recorded a 5-0 win at Biggleswade United. Greg Blenkin and an own goal completed the scoring to give the Crusaders their biggest win of the season.
