West Wratting Res 0 Litlington 1

LITLINGTON travelled to West Wratting with a depleted squad but after a hard-working display beat superior opposition.

A quick and well-organised West Wratting side made Litlington work for the points and for their second clean sheet of the season.

And after sustaining long periods of pressure, the deadlock was broken on the hour mark when Ian Ruggles made a characteristic supporting run beyond his forwards, latched on to Ben Lewis' flick, and rolled the ball passed the advancing keeper.

From then on Wratting laid siege to the Litlington goal, but the visitors held firm, with Tom Hanson, Terry Woods, and Daniel Frazzle rising to the challenge.
