ROYSTON Town Youth Under 10 A team put in a solid performance away against Stevenage Borough Lions Under 10s to keep their current good run of form going. Keiran Blois was outstanding in various positions during the whole game showing real quality and vision. The scoring was opened following some strong work by striker Max Logan setting up skipper Callum Toovey to convert. Tom Fox and Michael Baulk kept the pressure on from midfield and Jamie Copeland was impressive at the back throughout. It was left to fellow defender Jamie Penn to complete the scoring by powering two good headers, both from Logan corners, one each side of the half time break. Jack Hallewell in goal was alert all game to ensure a clean sheet and a well deserved Royston victory.

Royston Town Youth B Under-10 3
ROYSTON Town Youth Under 10 B team defended well to keep a rare clean sheet and were their usual scintillating selves going on the attack. Royston's first goal came in the first minute with a rapier like move involving Matthew Bailey, Lewis Anderson and Bruce Barnes and it fell to Jack Davis to plant it in the net. Barnes, who was strong all game, poached the second for a 2-0 half-time lead. Joe Burn's dominance in defence was superb and Tom Turner, coming on as substitute, hit his first for the team and Royston's third following a probing free-kick by Brad Whale. Good running and closing down by Lewis Mansfield, coupled with Rory Hunter having a good game in goal made sure of the win.
