Bassingbourn U12s lost 2-1 away at Bedwell Rangers despite starting brightly and taking an early lead.

Max Logan put them in from after he latched onto a long goal kick from ‘keeper Dylan Lloyd.

Bedwell responded well and pulled one back from a short corner just before half time..

Bedwell passed the ball better in the second half and the extra possession resulted in them taking the lead. Bourn pressed hard with Cameron MacGillivray and Matthew Gwynn putting in strong performances in midfield but an equaliser could not be found. For the second game this season, Lloyd pulled off a superb penalty save to keep Bourn in the game but it was not to be and Bedwell ended deserved winners.
