ONE of the quickest goals of the season saw Cougars take the lead within 30 seconds, when Shane Dansie struck from the edge of the area.

But Cougars did not have the match all their own way, and Hormead defended resolutely.

After scoring another before the break, it seemed as if Cougars had control of the game.

But when Hormead pulled a goal back midway through the second half, it set up a frantic finale, as Hormead pushed forward to get the equaliser.

IT was a gritty performance from the B team, who took the lead with a superb dipping shot from the right wing by captain Calum Brown.

Man-of-the-match Ben Surrey battled hard to preserve Cougars' lead.

However, Hormead got their reward through some great attacking football, and grabbed a deserved equaliser.
