ROYSTON boss Paul Attfield believes the pressure will be on Bedford Town Reserves this Saturday as his team prepare for their visit to The New Eyrie.
The Crows are currently first in Division One, eight points clear of Kings Langley and 12 ahead of this Saturday's opponents, and Attfield is confident his charges can build on their 100 per cent away record which has seen them win nine away games out of nine so far.
"If we win the advantage over them will be 15 points but if they win it will be nine so it is a potential six pointer for them," said Attfield.
"I think all the pressure will be firmly on Bedford as they will have to take the game to us in an intent manner being in the position they are in and I am comfortable with that.
"I actually feel that we have played better football away from home this season and hence we have an outstanding nine wins from nine games situation.
"One area from last season we had to address was our away performances and the players have certainly done that with some outstanding showings."
Attfield has also revealed his pleasure at the impacts both Danny Payne and Matt Pring have had since they joined the Crows from Hitchin Town in January.
"It is never easy joining a team half-way through a season but both have worked hard in training and do actually know a lot of the players from youth football days so it has been relatively easy for them to settle into the squad."
The chances of a league and cup double are still on for Royston, with them due to face Kings Langley in the Division One Cup semi-final on March 3.
