Under-11 Division 2

Bassingbourn 4 Letchworth Blues 3

IN the first game of this double-header, Bassingbourn started brightly with Jake Keeble grabbing two early goals.

Bourn got a little over confident and allowed Letchworth back into the game who pulled two back to make it 2-2. Dylan Lloyd set Matt Tiffin free down the left wing who crossed to Jake Keeble who scored Bourn's first hat-trick of the season and made it 3-2.

Bourn allowed Letchworth to equalise again, taking the game into a tense finale. Thankfully Bourn kept their attacking play going and Keeble returned the favour setting up Tiffin to net the winner.

Game Two - Bassingbourn 2 Letchworth Blues 4

After the euphoria of the first win Bourn found it difficult to get going in the second game. Letchworth took an early lead which they soon made 3-0. Bourn kept battling away and a long range effort from Jack Brough flew into the top corner making it 3-1. Letchworth netted a fourth but on-song Jake Keeble grabbed his fourth of the day but Bourn finished 4-2 down.
