JM maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a well-earned point - despite finishing the game with only eight fit players.

Keeper Adam Whelan aggravated an old ankle injury after 20 minutes, but played on and made several key saves.

Adrian Smith also played on despite an injury, but Alex Oram was taken off after an X-rated tackle.

However, his replacement Eugene Nymande made an instant impression when his and Curtis Irish's clever play was finished majestically by former Histon striker Peter Leete.

Camden equalised, and then took the lead after beating the offside trap.

But JM's efforts were rewarded when Mark Poulter drove home from 18 yards.

JM could have perhaps snatched a late winner, when Leete missed a good opportunity, before a dubious offside decision robbed Irish of another chance.

JM Sports: Whelan; Kirkpatrick, Yates, Smith, Oram (Nymande); Poulter, Nash, Tiffin, Neaves; Leete, Irish.
