JM Sports bounced back from their opening day defeat and cruised through to the next round of the John Ablett Cup - crushing a young Hardwick side with 12 goals.

The visitors raced into a four-goal lead within 20 minutes, with both Charlie Bryan and Steve Williams netting twice.

The commanding Bryan was in inspired mood, and added another two goals before half time.

Minutes into the second half, Hardwick then scored an own goal for goal number seven, before Bryan scored his fifth and Paul Wiffin made it nine.

Much to the delight of the Hardwick defence, Bryan was taken off with 30 minutes to go.

However, his replacement Ben Fuller increased the lead further with two confident finishes.

And there was still time for Ian McCann to blast home a powerful strike for goal number 12 before rookie keeper Neil Pinner gifted the hosts a late consolation.
