Melbourn Dynamos Panthers Under-10 A 1 Hormead Hares 1

IT was a share of the spoils for Melbourn and Hormead with both teams working hard for the point. The hosts started the brighter of the two, with Charlie Webber going close early on. But Hormead almost took the lead with their strikers denied by Ross Cockburn in the Melbourn goal. However, it was the hosts who broke the deadlock when Sam Bedlow reacted quickest and pounced to open the scoring. Melbourn continued their threat well into the second half with Ben Webb in dangerous form.

But Homead showed their resilience and grabbed an equaliser when a well-struck free-kick tested Cockburn with Finlay Higgins on hand to poke home the follow up.
