Under-12s Division Four

THE Cougars went to Stortford on a cold Sunday morning and came away with the points to extend their lead to seven points in Division Four.

The first half was a close game with both sides playing some good football and it was Rovers who took the lead after a great run from the midfield was finished with a shot which gave the Cougars 'keeper no chance.

The Cougars could have gone in level but from some good Rovers defending, but in the second half they came back to win the game.

Man-of-the-match Will Hewer's corner was deflected into his own goal by a Rovers defender to level things up and Hewer then scored two goals to put the game out of reach for the hosts.
