Litlington Athletic 2 Figleaves 3

LITLINGTON put in a spirited performance against high-flying Figleaves before conceding late on to lose a share of the spoils.

Ashley Hawkins' men have now lost points late on in matches three weeks in a row and find themselves perilously close to the BIS 4A relegation zone, but the manager will no doubt be pleased with some aspects of his side's performance.

The hosts took the lead when Paul Harris lobbed the 'keeper after good build up play by Hawkins and James Evans, and Harris doubled his team's tally on 40 minutes when he got onto the end of a Andy Howards long throw.

Litlington preserved the lead until the break, but were pulled back to 2-2 in the second period before conceding with just two minutes to go as Figleaves stole the points.

Litlington: Bonfield, Hawkins, Orton, R Wilson, Judge, Butler, Howard, Kingsley, Weir, Evans, Harris. Subs: K Wilson, Choudhury, Jackson.
