Royston Celtic A Under 10s 1 Stotfold Juniors A 1

CONTINUING their impressive form of the summer, Royston were unlucky not to have sealed three points.

With goalkeeper Jack Mills thwarting the Stotfold attack, and Jordan Cooney and Robbie Filby strong in defence, the Royston attack was given a commanding platform.

And with Lorcan George and Richard Jonas shining in midfield, Colts created a host of chances.

However, Stotfold grabbed a goal midway through the second half.

But all was not lost after George was brought down in the area.

After dusting himself down, he slotted a powerful penalty past the diving Stotfold keeper for his first goal for the club.
