Shelford & Stapleford Strikers U11s 2

Royston Town Youth Eagles U11s continued their fine form with a 7-2 triumph over Shelford & Stapleford Strikers in a friendly match.

Good goalkeeping from Lewis Wood and excellent defending by Jamie Penn, Joe Burn and Tom Turner provided Royston the foundation to build on as Callum Toovey and Matthew Bailey played their usual commanding game in midfield, ably supported by Luke Warner. Will Tucker, Keiran Blois, Michael Baulk and Lewis Anderson provided the firepower with Tucker himself scoring a hat-trick. Tucker was also named Man of the Match. Blois grabbed a brace while singles from Baulk and Anderson ensured a comfortable result.
