A VERY tight game saw the Cougars take the lead in the first half with a great strike by Harrison CS but they were able to win thanks to some great defensive work in the second half by Jack Roberts and Dylan Talmadge.
The midfield also played their part in keeping Stotfold at bay.

THE Cougars pulled off a well deserved victory against Stotfold in a game which saw them storm into the lead with goals from Kieran McKinna, Tommy Jackson and Bradley Anderson.
Man-of-the-match Finley Thorp held it all together in midfield.

BUNTINGFORD'S first game away to Melbourn saw them punished by two late goals which, if anything, didn't reflect the performance the youngsters had given.
Some great goalkeeping from Charlie McKenzie, including a penalty save, plus some very good all round play from Jack Saggers kept Buntingford in it, but their opponents scored in the last five minutes when it was too late for Buntingford to come back.

IN the second game between Buntingford and Melbourn the Cougars started well with man-of-the-match Harry Welsh nearly scoring early on.
Some great defending from Liam McCarthy kept Melbourn from scoring then running onto a great through ball from Joe Flack Jack Saggers slotted home the winner.

THE Cougars' under-10s team played high-flying Royston and dominated from the start, going in 2-1 up at half time through Jack Wyman and Ryan Peck.
The Blues pushed home their advantage in the second half and added four more goals including a hat trick from Jack McMeechan and another strike from Wyman.

BUNTINGFORD'S Whites fought hard after going down to an early goal against their Royston counterparts and although they had the better chances in the second half were unable to get a goal back.
Keeper Jordan Hutchings had a good game as did captain Billy Green.

ON a warm afternoon the Cougars were punished early on for some sloppy defending and then a wicked deflection gave the home side a two goal advantage before the Cougars had even mounted an attack on goal.
With a mountain to climb the Cougars struggled to find their form and some fine defending from the home side kept their front men quiet, however the Cougars went further behind after another deflection had put keeper Tim Rice into a race with the Green forward only to be beaten to it and the ball was prodded home.
In the second half Buntingford had the slope to their advantage but struggled to find the net with the Green keeper making several good reflex saves.
It took a wild tackle on Scott Piggott to wake the Cougars who scored an excellent goal via Alfie Long from the subsequent free kick.
Cougars continued to dominate play but were hit on the break by Green, but they still weren't finished and added to their tally with a Michael Holland penalty.
