BALDOCK started well, Connor Gray dominating the midfield, and after 10 minutes a Gray pass put Matthew Judges through, but his shot was just wide.

Stevenage forced a good save from Alex Taylor in the Baldock goal and captain, Elodie Blanchfield made a good clearance from another Stevenage attack.

Alex Close hit a pass to Oliver Foster. Foster sprinted down the left wing and a fierce shot could only be parried by the Stevenage keeper and this time Rogers made no mistake to give Baldock the lead just before half-time.

Stevenage were stronger in the second half, an early chance was ruled out for offside. For Baldock Nicholson made another run down the wing and cut the ball back to Judges, but this time a great shot flew just over the crossbar.

Then after 14 second half minutes Stevenage finally equalised as both teams continued to attack. The final score was a fair reflection of an exciting game.
