Bassingbourn U11s 5 Biggleswade Utd U11s 0
BASSINGBOURN U11s recorded a comfortable 5-0 victory over Biggleswade United on Sunday.
Biggleswade certainly came to attack and played some nice passing football and if it wasn’t for some fantastic defending from Failletiaz, Puvvada, Lay, Struebel and goalkeeper Catton the result could have been very different.
Bassingbourn went into the half-time break two goals up thanks to goals from Steckly and Caldwell and it didn’t take long for them to put the game to bed in the second half when Steckly notched his second of the match.
From then on it was a case of how many Bassingbourn would score and they added two more through French and Burchett before the end.
They had further chances to add more gloss to the scoreline but they were worthy winners on the day.
