Greneway School hosted its first Tag Rugby Festival of 2014 for pupils from St Marys RC Primary, Icknield Walk and Studlands Rise First schools.

The event for Year 3 and 4 pupils was organised by Terry Graves, assistant headteacher at Greneway, and schools sports co-ordinator Rob Dowler as well as teachers and coaches from First School as part of the North East Herts School Sport Partnership. The festival was then managed by Greneway’s Year 8 Young Sports Leaders.

“The sight of 140 Year 3 and 4 students being expertly and enthusiastically led by 35 sports leaders warmed everyone who experienced it and demonstrated all of the Olympic and Paralympic values,” said Dowler.
