A female student has picked up the Ashwell Karate Club 2014 Student of the Year trophy for the first time.
Charlotte Fish, was voted top student by her peers at the club.
The youngster first participated in karate at the age of four and, over the last three years, has steadily improved with an excellent attitude and dojo etiquette.
The club trains every Sunday morning at Ashwell Village Hall
New beginners are always welcome to pop by for a free taster session.
