There will be no repeat of last season’s FA Youth Cup heroics for Royston Town U18s as they lost at home to Aveley via extra-time in the final qualifying round.
The game had ended 1-1 after 90 minutes with Louis Debnam finding the net before a Crows own goal forced an additional 30 minutes.
Aveley will face Stevenage in the first round proper.
