A PARTY of visitors from Royston's twin town Grossalmerode have taken part in another successful weekend of sport.
A combination of Royston hosts and German guests took on a Royston Town XI in an entertaining game of football at the Heath.
The German/host team won 5-4 with goals coming from Thomas Grude (3), Matthias Aly and Tom Higton. The Royston goalscorers were Mark Saunders, Ryan Cannon, Jeremy Glasscock, and Joe Smith.
Amy Cooper also became the first female player to take part in this event.
The guests also enjoyed a golf and 10-pin bowling competition before heading back to Germany.
