ROYSTON racer Brett Griffin has branched out into endurance rallying and was the highest placed novice with a notable eight-place finish.
Griffin Motorsport entered the Bullnose Rally in Oxford, with Damien Rigden driving and Griffin as co driver.
Hoping for a top 20 placing the pair finished eighth in their first taste of endurance rallying.
Griffin said: "We were completely stunned. We had a great finish and beat a lot of expert drivers.
