HEYDON Grange Golf Club Venerables went on their annual autumn tour to Le Touquet, northern France, during the last week of September, playing La Foret, La Mer and Les Dunes courses.
The three days of play saw competition for both the Bill Cook Memorial Trophy, played on the second day, and the Frog Trophy for the best two scores over the three days, both Stableford competitions.
And it was Colin Edge who won both trophies, with Peter Howarth coming runner-up in both events. Alan Parkes finished third in the Frog Trophy.
