Melbourn Dynamos U11s had to settle for a 1-1 draw at home to BSFC Rovers.

Dynamos had the best of the play in the first half but were unable to find the breakthrough.

The second half saw Rovers come back strongly, piling the pressure on the Melbourn defence, but solid defending from Sean Lodge and some heroic tackling from Player of the Match Imi Ranner repeatedly interrupted the Rovers attacks.

With only a few minutes to go, Matthew Morris fed a neat pass through to Martin Downey, who showed superb ball control before crossing deftly to Ollie Deadman who fired from the edge of the box.

Rovers never gave up, though, and moments before the final whistle, a lob went up over the Dynamos ‘keeper into the back of the net.
