TWO of Bassingbourn Snowsports' junior ski competitors were in action on Sunday in the first race in the East of England calendar.
Ross Lucie-Smith and Ben Upton took to the slopes for Bassingbourn, with Upton leading the way after the first race with an impressive 14.71 seconds.
Lucie-Smith also impressed with a time of 14.77.
In their second race, the young skiers continued to shine with Lucie-Smith registering a time of 17.93, while Upton finished with a time of 18.21.
As a result, Upton claimed a deserved second place finish and silver medal, while Lucie-Smith finished fifth.
