Litlington Reserves 5 Saffron Rangers 2 PAUL Harris and James Evans scored a brace each against promotion rivals Saffron Rangers to keep Litlington top of the league. Rangers started the stronger, but Evans used his pace to beat the offside trap and gave Litlington the lead after 15 minutes. He had a hand in the second goal when his fierce shot struck the bar, and Harris reacted first to head the ball home over the on-rushing keeper. The second half started in similar fashion with Saffron in control. However, they failed to capitalise, and Evans scored his second at a vital time. From then Litlington dominated as Harris and Kieran Butler tore Saffron's defence apart, and it was no surprise when Butler's through ball found Harris, who cleverly chipped home his 16th goal of the season, and second of the match. Liam Butler then won a penalty which he stepped up for, however it was poorly struck and easily saved. Saffron then shocked Litlington by scoring two quick goals. But the game was finally killed off when Jamie Smith scored the fifth again after good work by Butler to keep Litlington top.
