ROYSTON Swimming Club will meet neighbours Buntingford for the first time in nearly three years when the Hertfordshire Major League gets under way on Saturday.
The two clubs will clash at Biggleswade in the opening division three round of the competition.
Royston coach Tricia Dear has hopes of her squad winning promotion into division three.
Buntingford are entering the winter league for the first time after impressing in the summer Peanuts League in recent years.
The two clubs clashed regularly in the third division of the Peanuts League until Buntingford won promotion to division two in 2004.
