After a strong winter of cyclo-cross racing action, Cycle Club Ashwell were rewarded with second place overall in the Eastern Cyclo-cross League.

A number of stand-out performances from the CCA youth helped to claim the runners-up spot behind Welwyn Wheelers.

Mark Lightfoot in particular had a superb winter season, winning every race he entered easily taking the gold medal in the process.

Other CCA medalists: Elijah Storti (U8 - gold); Logan Ayres (U8 - silver); Rhys Cairns (U10 - silver); Mark Lightfoot (U12 - gold); Harley Pell (U16 girls - silver); Adam Lightfoot (U16 boys - silver); Jackie Field (veterans - bronze).
