Last minute winner sinks Crows
ROYSTON TOWN succumbed to their fifth straight defeat in all competitions on Saturday thanks to another last minute goal.
Leverstock Green’s fortunes are in stark contrast to those of Paul Attfield’s side at the moment, as this was their sixth win on the bounce meaning they replace the Crows in fifth place in the Spartan South Midlands Premier table.
Green’s Steve Hatch was the man who grabbed the winner which leaves Royston sitting in eighth place in the table and again highlights Attfield’s concern that a distinct lack of goals of late is now proving to be a major problem.
On the plus side, they have the chance to bounce back tomorrow night (Tuesday) at home to Oxhey Jets who are currently fourth from bottom.
