ASSISTANT manager Duncan Easley said Royston Town will be going all out to win when they host Bedford Town Reserves in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.

After 11 games in Division One the Crows lie third in the table, three points behind Bedford and five behind Kings Langley with games in hand.

Royston are currently on a four-match winning streak in all competitions and will be confident of taking points off a Bedford team who have struggled of late.

The Eagles have drawn three and lost one of their last four games.

Easley said: "I think Bedford might sit back and I think they might come here for a draw, but we're going to go all out for the win.

"They haven't got the results from the last few games, but our last against Stony was excellent and if we play like that again we'll have a really good chance."

Despite Bedford's poor recent form, they still have real presence going forward and in Ashley Deverell they can boast one of the most prolific strikers in the division.

Royston's own star striker Craig Hammond was taken off at Stony Stratford last Saturday with concussion following an elbow to the face, and a decision has yet to be made on whether to play him against Bedford.

Easley said: "We don't know if Craig will play yet, we'll assess him nearer the time, but we've got plenty of attacking players who can do the job."

Luke Robins' two goals against Stony Stratford on Saturday took his league tally to six for the season and Royston's 35 goals this campaign have been shared between 12 separate players.

The Crows are currently the league's top scoring team, currently averaging three goals a game at home, and you have to go back to last season to find the last competitive game in which Royston failed to find the back of the net.

Defensively they are looking strong too, but they will be aware not to get complacent against a Bedford team who have bagged more points away from home than any other team so far this season and still pose a real threat despite their recent dip in form.
