PAUL Attfield says his players are rediscovering their top form after two wins on the bounce.

The Crows had gone six matches without a win recently and Attfield was particularly critical of his side's defending throughout that period.

However, he maintains that, if his team can keep it tight at the back between now and the end of the season, the Crows' attacking capabilities will ensure their rise up the league table.

"That's two good wins now and the lads' confidence is very high," said Attfield.

"We've shown even through our sticky patch that we are a good attacking side and it showed against Welwyn and Oxhey Jets."

Attfield said at the beginning of the season that his side were good enough to finish in the top six of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, and while he maintains that would be a big achievement he acknowledges that injuries to his squad during the heavy fixture schedule could damage their chances.

He added: "I don't want to exaggerate on my pre-season prediction of a top-six finish, but if we can stay clear of injuries we will have a very good chance of doing just that."

The Crows will hope to keep their form going over the coming days when they entertain Broxbourne Borough at Garden Walk tonight (Thursday) before welcoming Langford on Saturday.

Attfield will once again shuffle his pack in order to bring in fresh legs.
