Arlesey the victims in a match of good quality
Arlesey Town under-nines raced into a two goal first half lead as Clifton Colts failed to get into their usual passing culture but the second half saw Clifton produce football of great quality.
James Hannan, with a storming game in centre of midfield, scored two cracking individual goals before Josh Scoot nipped in after a James thunderbolt was superbly saved and Toby Shacklock hit a long-range effort to secure the win.
In the second match of the day, Clifton and Arlesey battled out an entertaining draw. Ciaran Boyle put Clifton in front before Arlesey equalised. Scootie notched Clifton’s second and Arlesey scored an equaliser. Harry in goal for Arlesey made several good saves.
