CRICKET coach David Cattley met former Essex and England captain Nasser Hussain, as he was recognised in the Sky Sports Coach Reward and Recognition Scheme.
Cattley who has dedicated more than 40 years to Cokenach Cricket Club, was one of eight guests presented with awards ahead of England's one-day match with New Zealand at The Oval.
Cattley was awarded for his long-service and dedication to coaching.
Not only has he played a vital role in shaping the Cokenach CC's successful junior teams, he has also played a valuable part as player and groundsman.
He said: "It was fantastic, I love what I do and it was nice to be recognised by Sky Sports and all my peers.
"A lot has happened in my time at the club, but I am most proud of our brilliant youth section. We started it up nine years ago, and now have more than 80 young players."

Cattley also coaches at a number of schools in the area, including Barkway, Barley, Reed, and Therfield.
Cokenach Cricket Club chairman Adrian Cossor said: "David's award is absolutely deserved.
"He is a big part of this club. He's brought so much to the club, and has done so much work for youth cricket, both here and throughout Cambridge."
Cattley also said he was backing Sky Sport's ECB Coach Education Programme and said: "I don't think you can ever have enough coaches.
"We certainly need to see more development at grass roots and junior level, and we need to get as many coaches and youngsters involved in the game as possible.
