ANOTHER sunny Saturday saw Cokenach demolish USSC their latest CCA game.
Needing a win to stay in the promotion hunt, Cokenach won the toss and opted to bowl first on a wet but drying wicket.
Alex Cossor and Alex Eve took the new ball and with some aggressive field settings, Cokenach made a strong start and removed the top three batsmen with only 10 runs on the board. The rest fell for another 19 runs in what was possibly one of the shortest games in CCA history.
Cossor ended up with figures of 6-2-9-4 and Eve faring even better with 7-1-17-5.
Despite losing their openers Eve and Peter Clarke steered them home in 8.4 overs and to a valuable 20 points.
